UPDATE

A FEW THINGS TODAY:

All MAINTENANCE INVOICES have been sent by email.  If you have not received your Invoice by email, please let Karina know.  To make it easy, you may pay from the Letter.  

Karina will start on Trades & Accelerations for January & February.  If you sent in a request and no longer need it, please let her know right away.  If you have not sent in a request and need to request a Trade or Acceleration, please send this in right away.  MAINTENANCE must be paid in full before a Trade or Acceleration will be approved.  Please don’t send a request if you have not paid maintenance.  Once your Trade/Acceleration is approved, you have 10 days to confirm with your Credit Card Payment.  

NOTE:  There are not many weeks available in 2021 because of all the weeks that were moved from 2020.  

If you own Week 52 and want Week 53 in 2021, please email Karina or send her a Credit Card Authorization with a Maintenance Payment for this week. On the credit card form please note “Paying for Week 53”. You may only request Week 53 if you own Week 52.

I think rentals are caught up for today.  If I have missed your email asking to list a rental please resend.  As everyone will see from the list-it is overwhelming.  I cannot post as often as I have in the past so I am suggesting joining Redweek and posting your week for rent there.  This gives you immediate control of your listing.  The number of rentals because of COVID make it almost impossible for me to keep up.  If you are renting your unit, you need to complete a rental agreement for the renter and then a Member Guest Form for Karina and the renter.

If you need your unit listed for Sale, please send me the info.

All request need to be sent by email with Week Number, Unit Number, Dates, Price and Contact info.  If all info is not included I cannot post.  Please do not text, call or message me for rental or sale listings.  I need them all by email with complete info.

 

 

Riu Palace Aruba…Best Rental Deals on Palm Beach.

The All-Inclusive Hotel Riu Palace Aruba has a timeshare community of 35 units. Timeshare rentals offer the most affordable way to vacation in Aruba.  Timeshare units at the Riu Palace Aruba are often available for rent through members. Occupancy is Friday to Friday. While the Riu Palace Aruba does not rent or sell timeshare unit, they maintain the 35 original units.  The resort, including Timeshare was renovated in 2015. Please contact a member if you are interested in renting their available week.

If you are renting a Timeshare please make sure the Owner provides you a rental agreement and a Member Guest Form. Please remember these are Friday to Friday only.

Timeshare is non-smoking in the units, halls and on the balconies. A one-bedroom sleeps 4 with a private bedroom and queen sleeper sofa in the living room.  A two-bedroom sleeps 6 with two private bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. All timeshare units have a kitchen and dining/eat in area.  5th floor one-bedroom units have two baths.  1st and 3rd floor one-bedroom units have 1 bath.  All two-bedroom units have two baths with the exception of 546/548 which has 3 baths.

Rental Updates

Hopefully Rentals are updated again.  I am only posting about once a week.  I am also not making changes to prices so please pick your price for the first post.  There are more rentals than ever before and I can hardly keep up.

If I have missed your rental, please let me know.

Riu Palace Aruba Maintenance

In September Maintenance will be due again.  Invoices will be EMAILED this year and not mailed by USPS.  Please make sure to follow updates as there will be no way to track who receives their Invoice and who doesn’t.

Please make sure your email address is up to date.

Lastly-even amongst Covid, restricted travel, etc… Maintenance is still due.  In the timeshare world, maintenance goes on.

COVID-19 Update

Unfortunately the Riu does not have procedures in place for emergencies. As we are faced with COVID-19 many find it necessary to cancel travel plans. There is nothing the Riu can do about tomorrow. However if your week is coming up and you will not be traveling, they will do an emergency Trade to a week later in 2020.  They will begin with Week 12 and go week by week as conditions update.

If Air Travel becomes restricted into Aruba, they will have additional options.

If you need a Trade, please send the Trade Form with the $75 Trade Fee on a Credit Card Form to Karina immediately🌴

Aruba Breeze Condo at Eagle Beach

One of our Members owns a lovely condo at Aruba Breeze at Eagle Beach.  His unit is often available for rent.  Below is the info:

Outstanding Condo, perfect location

This condo is exactly what you see in the online pictures. Very modern unit, large for 2 couples. and everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The french doors open to a waterfall pool on the left and also one that is situated steps away from the unit. This was a nice seating area in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee. As well, their is a covered bbq area with an outdoor dining table. The water is drinkable out of the tap and the unit also supplied ice so that we were able to cool our beer on our trips to the beach. With that the condo also supplied a nice sized beverage cooler and lawn chairs so that we were able to take to the beach. The beach is one of the nicest beaches i have seen in the caribbean. Eagle beach is a 10 minute walk from the condo. The beach is a long span of white fine sand with turquoise warm waters. I can say the only downfall of Eagle beach is the wind but without the wind you would most likely cook to death so settle for the wind! The condo is situated in a very secure area however Aruba itself is very safe. We took many walks at night and did not feel a bit unsafe. The area is full of shopping and restaurants. The choices are endless:) If your up to arubian food, try the heshi yeni and the awesome johnney cakes and of course the island breads. We rented a car so were able to scoot around the island to enjoy the capitol of Oranjested, Arushi beach, Baby beach, Mengel Halto beach. and Palm beach area. A half a block from the condo is a greek/Italian restaurant , Zuzuroh. A must to go and try this restaurant. Westdeck is also a must to dine, tons of live entertainment here and also around the area to enjoy. Nice grocery store to stock up for your vacation, a one stop shop to get all you need, good selection of wine, beer and liquor. Did some snorkelling at baby beach and Mengal Halto, some fish, its ok but not great but still fun to be in the water. All in all, we will be back, great island, nice friendly people and the most stunning beaches all at your finger tips as the island is so small ….all I can say is one happy island! Thanks for the wonderful stay, it was enjoyed by all!

I post Riu stuff on my personal page all the time and yesterday my kids convinced me to create a Group Page. Thanks to everyone who has posted so quickly. This page will allow you to post rentals/sales in another location, post pictures or just communicate with other members. There are several Aruba FB pages and it should be nice to have our own.

The website will not change. This is just an addition for all of us.
